Summary:                    mpfr compilation fails on OS X
Description: 
On OS X, mpfr fails to compile with the following linker error:
ld: common symbols not allowed with MH_DYLIB output format with the
-multi_module option
This seems to be gmp's fault and can be fixed with the attached patch.

The gmp autoconf scripts are also bugged and won't install shared
libraries. Attached a fairly large patch to update the scripts. The first
gmp patch might actually be unneccessary after this (not tested, though.)
