[Buildroot] Building Toolchain using Cygwin

Hi everybody

 

I want to build a cross-compilation toolchain using buildroot and cygwin. 

 

The goal is to have a toolchain running under Windows (host) that generates
code for a PowerPC (target) based system that runs a busybox / uClibc Linux
system.

 

That toolchain shall afterwards be integrated into CDT/Eclipse system.

 

Especially important is to be able to use the cross-debugging support of
CDT.

 

Has anybody done this already or has experience in using buildroot and
cygwin together?

 

Any help is welcome
