I think you should write it that way (untested!):
define SONG_CONFIGURE_CMDS
cd $(@D); \
$(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin/qmake -o Makefile -v songPresentation.pro
endef
or maybe:
define SONG_CONFIGURE_CMDS
cd $(@D) && \
$(HOST_DIR)/usr/bin/qmake -o Makefile -v songPresentation.pro
endef
