[Buildroot] [PATCH v6 2/3] gobject-introspection: new package

Merder Kim hoxnox at gmail.com
Sat Jun 9 07:29:07 UTC 2018

Hello.
I've tested the patch on https://github.com/pavouk/lgi and there was a
problem. LGI need girepository-1.0/*.typelib files on the target machine
in runtime. GObject-introspection package keep it on the host and
doesn't install it to the target. I'm not an expert in introspection
framework, so don't know is it actual for LGI only.

27.04.2018 20:53, Adam Duskett (by way of Thomas Petazzoni
<thomas.petazzoni at bootlin.com>) пишет:
> GObject introspection is a middleware layer between C
> libraries (using GObject) and language bindings. The C library
> can be scanned at compile time and generate a metadata file,
> in addition to the actual native C library. Then at runtime,
