[Buildroot] [PATCH v3 2/3] configs/raspberrypi3_64_defconfig: enable device tree overlay support

Peter Seiderer ps.report at gmx.net
Fri Nov 8 22:28:33 UTC 2019

Enables the usage of the standard raspberry pi overlays (as already
possible for all 32bit defconfigs and as expected by most rasperry
pi defconfig users), follow up patch will use the overlay feature to
enable the ttyS0 serial console in the same way as done for the
raspberrypi3_defconfig case (instead using an alternative approach).

Changes v1 -> v2:
 - no changes

Changes v2 -> v3:
 - add commit log (suggested by Thomas Petazzoni)

Notes:

Only the 64bit RPi compile seems to need the extra enabling
of device tree overlay support (the 32bit ones seem to do
it automatically). But for symmetry all RPi defconfigs should
set BR2_LINUX_KERNEL_DTB_OVERLAY_SUPPORT?
