[Buildroot] Issue Applying Patches to Package

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the quick response!

I've removed the other files from my patch directory; they were leftover
from troubleshooting.

I adjusted the line in my patch file to remove the .orig file extension,
but it still throws the same error:

Applying 0001-psplash-config.patch using patch:
can't find file to patch at input line 3
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|--- psplash-config.h   2025-09-03 15:01:21.282531766 -0400
|+++ psplash-config.h   2025-09-03 15:10:18.445116066 -0400
--------------------------
No file to patch.  Skipping patch.
1 out of 1 hunk ignored

Could it be the way that I've created the patch? I had the original file
(.orig) and my modifications in the same folder and ran the diff command
from that folder to generate the patch.

Thank you,
Dylan
